Turkey Hats by I Heart Crafty Things

Quick, Easy and Fun Preschool Fall Crafts

I love the Fall season; the leaves, the cooler weather, the food. What better way to commemorate and celebrate the season than with crafts? But…

I don’t know about you, but I don’t really enjoy doing crafts with preschoolers. They don’t follow direction very well, they like to get messy, and the crafts typically aren’t that great to make it worth the effort. But the crafts are so cute, you might say, or the kiddies love them! True, true.

These quick and easy fall crafts for preschoolers only take minutes to set up and clean up. But they are super fun and cute! Click to view over ten crafts that will get you through the fall season without making a mess.

If you are in the same camp as me, take heart; I’ve gathered up a handful of Fall crafts that are quick to set up and clean up, while still being super cute and fun for your children. These crafts use items you probably already have in your home, which is partly what makes them so easy. While these are easy enough for preschoolers to do, older children will also enjoy doing them as well.

This Fruit Loop Fall Tree from Crafty Morning is really cute. Simply use cereal; it can be snack and craft at the same time.

Pumpkin Crafts

Thumbprint Pumpkin Patch by Crafty Morning

A Pumpkin Thumbprint painting by Crafty Morning (Have you noticed how perfect her crafts are for preschoolers?) is sure to be a hint. Make small pumpkin patch, or fill yours completely with round, beautiful pumpkins.

Tissue Paper Plate Pumpkin by One Stop Party Ideas

One Stop Party Ideas has a great pumpkin that uses only a paper plate, glue and orange tissue paper. If you want to make this for Halloween, you could even cut out jack-o-lantern features for your child to glue down.

Sponge Painted Pumpkin by One Resourceful Mama

Along the same lines, The Resourceful Mama has a sponge painted paper plate pumpkin. This would work well if you don’t have orange tissue paper and you aren’t afraid of paint with a preschooler.

Now that you’ve got a list of quick and easy fall crafts, choose one and get started! These honestly should not take longer than 15 minutes or so, unless you have a child that is a perfectionist. But that’s ok, it’s bonding time with your child!

I’m the same as you, I don’t really do crafts with my kids. But at least they get plenty of it in preschool. I’d love for their preschool teachers to get a hold of these ideas! These are pretty cute and creative.

I just dislike the mess, but these don’t involve too many messy components, so it should be pretty easy.
